Well, Elvis is home for the night. He didn't seizure today while he was at the hospital. Dr. Mortimer is worried because Elvis became increasingly lethargic and stuperous throughout the day.

His blood pressure and vitals are fine, but he's not respoding to much. I made the decision to bring him home for the night and watch him myself rather than take him to the emergency clinic. The neurologist wasn't able to see Elvis today but he's coming in at 8am tomorrow to examine him. We'll be taking him back in the morning.

Barring any complications, he'll be home with us tonight and we'll be keeping a close eye on him all night.

Thanks for all your well wishes, you guys are wonderful. I'll let you know how the examination goes tomorrow.

I'm sure being in his own home was comforting for Elvis. I'll keep on praying. Stay strong Elvis!

Well, Elvis had an uneventful night.

He did eat when hand fed so that was good. I stayed up with him until about 12, then Chris got home and stayed up and watched him all night. There were no seizures, but we did have two scares. Chris thought he was having a seizure, then realized Elvis was just trying to shake that dang bandage off his leg! lol He ate again this morning and urinated in the litterbox. Granted we kind of had to prop him up in it, but still!

We dropped him off to be admitted again, and wait for the neurology consult. He seemed a little perkier this morning so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'll keep everyone posted....

I'm so glad things seemed a bit better this morning. I'm sure and uneventful night was a blessing! I'm still praying for Elvis and sending as many good thoughts as possible. I certainly hope you and Elvis get nothing but good news today!!
I know there is nothing worse than the wait! Let us know what happens and when you can please give Elvis lots of kind and gentle kisses and neck scratches from me and my crew.
