Here's another update on my little man:
We just got back from the vet's a little while ago and she is so happy with his recovery. She said he looks awesome (but I already knew that).
She went to take the needle out of his leg (the one they left in in case he needed an IV again) and he'd have nothing to do with that. He backed up and gave her "The Look" and acted like he was going to snap at her. So just in case she muzzled him and I held his head up so he couldn't see her. Then all went well. It just took a few seconds and he was out of the muzzle and letting her pet him. I kinda wondered if he'd be a little leary of her trying to take it out. He didn't care if I touched it, he just didn't want her to.
Anyway, she said I can slowly start adding his food to the prescription food. I'm sure he'll be happy about that because he would go over and stand by his food and just look at me. It just broke my heartHe can also have a few treats (which he was soooo happy about
).
But as of now he's doing good. I just hope he continues to thrive after he's off all his meds.
He sends big sloppy kisses to all of you!
