Leah - I know exactly the sadness felt when losing precious items. Several years ago my place was robbed at Xmas time - I had just bought a new stereo system that was stolen - all my jewelry, which was mostly inexpensive stuff but there were gifts from people that meant alot to me - my class ring was stolen and several other items that meant a lot. I've never gotten over that.

This year when I opened up the box that has my furbabies Xmas socks in it - I got depressed because there was Jessee's sock (I lost her in March) and I just didn't feel like putting out the others . Besides I have 3 new furbabies this year and I havent had a chance to get socks for them. This will be the first Xmas without Jessee (my seal point Siamese) - I miss her a lot.
