Hi Kerri - welcome to pet talk. Always nice to talk to an Aussi. I had a pet duck a few years ago although it was a wild one that I rescued after he apparently got separated from his mother. I just fed him some wild bird seed and let him swim in the bath tub until he got so big that he was making big big messes. They do have a tendency to poop a lot Anyway when he was big enough I released him to the pond and I guess he migrated when all the others did.
