Dexter had a hematoma on his ear from an apparent scratch injury. One day he just had this huge bubble (of blood) and I took him right to the vet ... scared me to death. He immediately did surgery, to drain and stitch it up. If we hadn't done that, his ear would have completely crumpled up and died ... you've probably seen cats like that!!! So, instead, he has a quilted (seriously) earlobe with a lot of character!
