Aww, poor Sky. I hope he continues to give you an easy time with the meds.

Get well soon, sweet boy. Lots of snuggles and headbumpies coming your way.

    Update

I'm so glad that I was home all day yesterday because at about 3:30pm I saw Sky throw up. He didn't throw up liquid but the food he had eaten that morning. I called my vet and he had already left for the day so I paged him and also left a message on his cell phone. He finally called me back around 6pm and told me to give him 1/2 of a pepcid to help calm his tummy or I could mix the meds in with some wet food.

I decided to give him 1/2 of a pepcid and then feed him his dry food and this time it worked. He didn't eat very well last night but was very hungry this morning and ate all of his food. He was still begging for more so I gave him a little extra. That's the Sky I like to see. He was a little bit harder to medicate this morning so I know he's starting to feel a bit better. Thanks again for all of your concerns.

Oh Sky, I'm so sorry you're feeling funky. I'm glad to hear you're feeling a little more perky today though. Sure hope you're over it real soon so you get back to being your good natured self for your meowmy.

Oh, Tracey, I am sorry to hear Sky is sick. Though it's good to hear he seems a bit better today.
A bit late, but, sending prayers and positive thoughts for the sweet boy.

So far Sky seems to be feeling a little better each day. He's still sneezing though. He has a hearty appetite but he's also starting to get some diarrhea from the antibiotics. I bought some plain yogurt today and gave him some this evening. Luckily he seems to love it. I'll give him some more before I go to bed. So far all of his brothers are fine too. Hopefully he'll be back to his old self in a few more days. Thanks again everyone for all of your concerns.

Oh Tracey that sounds wonderful!!! Get better little Sky so we can once again see those twinkles in your eyes!!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Tracey, sorry I didn't see this sooner. I have been so busy working around the house, I guess I just overlooked your post.

I am sending double prayers and double good thoughts to Sky and the rest of your babies, that everybody will be lucky enough not to come down with the same thing, and dear sweet Sky gets to feeling better real soon.

Forgive me for being so late with well wishes.

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

    Yeah! Great news Tracey!

Keep taking your meds like a good boy Sky and you'll be back to normal in no time.

I'm so relieved to hear the others haven't caught whatever it is - whew!

    Another Update

Sky seems to be feeling a lot better today but one thing does concern me. He's still getting sneezing attacks. Sometimes he sneezes 6-8 times in a row. I think he may also have allergies because before he got sick he'd sometimes sneeze.

Thanks again for all of the well wishes, concerns, and nice comments.

    Latest Update

Since Sky was still having some major sneezing attacks, I called my vet yesterday. He said that he could do some tests to try to find out what's causing this since we think it's a bacterial infection or he could put him on another type of antibiotic for 1 more week. I decided to try the antibiotic for 1 more week and see how he is after that. This time it's clavamox in pill form. Luckily he's very easy to medicate.

He seems less sneezy today but is still quite stuffy. I think I'll also buy some nose drops called "Little Noses" for him today. He also started playing a little bit which is a very good sign. It's just taking longer than expected for him to get over this bug. Thanks again for all of your concerns.
