Some of my ferrets were like that too
Out of my 8 at one time, some were missing toes, tails and nails, but they were so loveable I didn't care, how could you resist a face that said 'Love me please?' So I did, over 8 time for the ferrets. I had a zoo going and was only allowed 2 dawgies on my lease! But he knew I had more and didn't keep all in the house, thatnkfully the husband could build shelters outside. Ferrets, chinillias, ingunians, hamsters, etc inside, dawgies and most cats outside...

We need to educate people that pets have feelings too and need to be treated like that. Not to be given away if you decide you don't like them anymore, or want them anymore because they shed! They are a lifetime commitment! You don't get rid of a baby because if cries, well the same should be said of a pet! Which is why I have animal Kritters and not human Kritters. No nappies, bottles, uni savings, etc...

With rescuing an animal from a shelter has been proven you get more loving and obedience from them then anyone else. They are out to give you 10,000% for saving them. This has been proven with bomb dawgies and search and rescue dawgie, etc... Wouldn't you give the person that rescued you from death everything in the world?
