Spencer and I sat embraced for a while until the rest of the group came over to find
us.
“Okay lovebirds, unleech yourselves.” Pete said, with Sara in tow. Spence and I
stood up and I brushed the dirt off my pants. Emilia linked arms with me and we
began to walk.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“Lunch. I’m buying.” Seven said. He was the richer one of the group, and was
always willing to help us out whether we needed it or not. He was also a big part of
my life, not only because he was my best friend’s boyfriend, but he lent me money
when I needed it most, and I hadn’t paid back any of it yet. He knew why, and he
never asked for his money back. He was such a great person. I tucked some more
loose strands of my shoulder length black hair behind my ears and smiled. I was so
lucky to have friends like these. And this was only the beginning of my journey.
