Thanks everyone for your advice. I hope I have managed to sort things out a little. I called the RSPCA (royal society for the protection of cruelty to animals) and they said that if I bring the rabbits to them on Thursday, someone there will be able to help me at no charge. I do a lot of fund raising for them, so I was happy with the no charge part. I will let you know what the outcome is. And further more I am a member of a postal club called the RREC (rabbits and rodents enthusiasts club) and the editor of the magazine will be running a story for me to see if any good homes can be found for them, even one or two would be great.
