Both of my dogs, I searched for. The cats sort of just found us, I guess that is what you would call it.
They found me
I searched for them
1/2 found me, 1/2 I searched for (mult. pets)
Most found me, others I searched for
Most I searched for, a few found me.
They were a gift or I inherited them
No choice, they came with my significant other
