I never cut them short enough but that's b/c I can't see the quick (Rebel's nails are black and Claire's are chocolate) and I don't want to cut them too short.
Foxy's nails are black aswell which makes it a little harder to cut them, but i try to cut them so they are not touching the grounds when he's walking.
