Sorry it took so long to get back. I've been waiting for my vet to call back. He did not write anything in my dogs chart about this problem. The vet was here to take care of a horse when I originally asked him about the dog so he just put a little note on the horse billing about it. Soooo my vet was not very helpful. I have been putting pure emu oil on my dogs nose for the last 4 days and it is really helping him. If you have never used emu oil and plan on using it be careful. Emu oil will absorb any dirt or what ever is on the skin surface right into the skin. Purified Emu is safe to eat. I still plan on looking into this condition further. If I find anything more I will post it to you.
