I'm old enough to be the mother of most of you!!! And I am 5'9". I like being tall and it wouldn't bother me to be a bit taller, actually. My grandmother (on my dad's side) was 5'11"!!

My daughter, who turned 13 this year is already almost 5'7", much taller than most of her friends, and taller than most of the boys in her class, but not all. Of course, he dad is 6'5", so the child didn't stand a chance!!
