Maybe you could try removing the collar for mealtime and then put it back on again. At least while she is eating she would be distracted from wanting to get at her stitches. Does the wound appear to be healing as it should? Hannah did necessitate some antibiotics after her spaying because of an infection. As one might expect, Chloe went directly for her stitches, so the lampshade went right back on. I will call the vet tomorrow anyway, as I need to respond to their inquiry about how Chloe is doing. I will ask them when I might be allowed to remove the collar, knowing that the cat will start at the stitches. You have to see this poor kitty trying to navigate the water dish and food bowls.![]()
