Save the avatar to your computer.
Go to your User CP
Click Edit options > Scroll down to Avatar, it's the last option.
Click on change avatar.
This will bring you to another screen. Use the last option on that page, which says you can upload an avatar from your computer.
Use the browse option to select the avatar file from your computer.

Then click Submit Modifications.
