As I recall, there were a pair of gorillas in a zoo a few years ago who were of prime breding age, and seemed very interested in one another, but nothing was happening between them. Eventually, someone had the idea to make a gorilla "porn" which showed two gorillas mating and showed it to the pair. They got the idea immediately and were right at it!

Sex is a learned behavior.
