No Brock didnt go swimming. He enjoys the water but isnt much of a swimmer, only very occasionally will he actually swim at Marymoor, but thats usually just because hes following a dog and it gets too deep to walk. I tried to get him to go in the water at the beach but I think the constant movement and splashing of the tide freaked him out too much!


Speaking of getting freaked out.. I forgot about this funny story. On the way back to the car from the beach, we walked through the field where everyone flies kites, and there was the big kite all crumpled in a pile next to a picnic table and Brock was SO SCARED of it, and it wasnt even moving! It was so funny! He barked at it a bunch (his deep scary dog bark ) and backed away. Then I encouraged him (between fits of laughter) to walk up to it, so he walked really slowly and carefully over to it to have a quick sniff then jumped back really fast, then he'd go have another sniff. It was so funny. The big loud train however didnt even phase him. Crazy puppy!
