This is the first time I have seen this post, Leslie. The way I done, when Stubby brought in a baby bird at this age, was I fed it raw hamburger meat, whole wheat bread, berry, leaves and then. It done really good on that diet, and finally was able to be turned loose.

I think this is what really got me to loving birds, its name was Charlie too, like my Cockateil. I wanted a bird that I could pet, and keep. Since I couldn't keep a wild bird, I had to have the cockateil.
