Taz is showing classic signs of stress. He needs things to do and things to think about. Give him some new toys, cardboard tubes are good, try giving him some sand and mushroom compost or some catus compost to dig in. Instead of buying him bedding try giving him some bathroom tissue (unbleached) and he will enjoy shredding it and making his own bedding.
