When I had my first baby (to many years ago to count), I had a 4 legged baby too and this cat use to "baby sit" my baby. He would lay on the floor by the baby crib 24/7, until my son would start to cry, then the kitty would jump in the bed with him and walk around purring until the baby stopped crying, which was usually as soon as he saw the kitty. I always thought that was the sweeties thing I ever witnessed.
