sorry I missed this thread before - I really missed all the excitement. I'm glad you've gotten medical attention and are recovering - that sounds like such a scary bite.

Don't be so hard on yourself, you had no way of knowing. I'm also sure that you've done a service here by reminding all of us just how potentially dangerous those cute little furballs can be.
