We'd hate to see ANY of the FurPups getleft at home!
Some options to consider...
Start a NUNbuddie gets a Free Lunch policy -
No Treat wiffout a "polite" *sit* or *shake* or *beg*...
(Dad getswhen he sees wunna US jest *grabbin* a treet!)
An Ho-BOY - whut we gotta do ta get a treet when we getz back HOME!
"Werk" fur two minnitz fur a louzee bisquit!
We'd rathur have a "Pay as ya Eat" program!
Should we load up a *Squirt Bottle* with an
"Attitude Adjustment Solution"?
Big Question is What would "work" for ALL the Dogs?
(Hate to use something that would *burn* if it got in the eyes.)
Time Outs?
I know it's better to NOT leash when entering the enclosure
(so no dog feels it's at a "disadvantage" when getting the
initial *sniff-over*).
But What About "Time Outs" when we're not close to the "Jail"?
Is it "safe" AND "effective" to *LEASH* Fido and enforce a
brief "Time Out" beside Mom/Dad to calm an overly-excited pup?
As a Last Resort -
AnMuzzle?
I HAVE one for Cinder - but she's never "tried it out"...
Got it when it seemed she'd never stop "greeting" people with
herTEETH... but she finally started getting the message
with enforced SITs (or getting tied to a table) when visitors
came into range.
"I'd" rather see a pooch have to wear a muzzle for a while
rather than be left at home.
