Yes, I have used it for behavior modification. It does work, I had to keep kitty in a small room with one litter box and water and food for about a week if I remember right and then clean the spots, checking with a black light to make sure they were gone and then treated with fel a way. It did the trick. But I forgot how long I kept him on it. Do remember had to ween off slowly. Good luck let me know how it goes.
