Awwww I love little birdies. What a cutie-pie.
I like Jazzcat's comment about Dr. Doolittles.
Good luck with this little one and let us know when the moment comes for it to leave the nest, sort of speaking.
Would like to share a little story about our little sparrow.
My mom raised a sparrow that was only a few days old as it was still pink with very little feathers and it survived to be an adult. She named him Chip.
When my mom would feed the birds outside, she would call, "CHIP" and the next thing you know, he would fly out of the tree and land on her shoulders, waiting for my mom to feed him by hand. Needless to say, all the other birds seemed a bit jealous to this special treatment.
OH!! I'm so glad to hear this. I sure hope little Porkchop stays around after he's learned to fly. He's a fiesty little bugger (probably why he survived)! I was sure he would die since he had injuries after being in January's mouth!!!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
