When my roommate got a husky, we named him Nikolai. I like naming dogs according to their origin. We looked up Russia in the encyclopedia and read it, and, found a mathmatician named Nikolai something. Your puppy is very pretty! The only thing I remember about training Nik was to make it short and sweet. His attention span was that of a toddler. And, at least until they're super trained (and, maybe not even after that, I don't know), but, keep her on leash. They're runners! My friend's dog jumped (climbed) a six foot fence almost every day until they finally realized that they couldn't leave her outside all alone. And, they're usually so friendly, anyone can pick them up if they're just roaming. And, from what I've heard, their homing instinct sucks. Like they'll run and run and run, and, then have a hard time finding their way back. That's just what I remember from researching when Nikolai came into our home. Good luck, though, they're wonderful friends.
