I don't show my pets who is boss and I don't show my husband who is boss. I'd think couples who feel the need to show each other who is boss will definitely have some serious problems. I'm guessing that was meant to be a humorous line.

Anyway if you love pets, the best way to be happy in a relationship is with someone who feels the way you do.
