    YES, that is a real photo - But look closely. The man in the photo is golding it out on pliers, making it look much larger than it is. Camel Spiders are quite small - They MAX at a 5" or 6" legspan. They have absolutely no venom, or acid (I heard THAT piece of bull somewhere), and they do NOT actually eat through camel's stomachs. Why people believe these things is beyond me.

    It looks like the bottom "spider" is actually a moult from the top spider...which would explain why it is so perfectly stretched out.

    They're fascinating little critters, harmless, but FAST!

    I am terrified of spiders and if I saw one of those for real, you wouldn't need depends, you'd need an AMBULANCE!
