Thank you all for your kinds words about Jacob. He is such a sweet boy, I can't imagine anyone not wanting him, but I guess they didn't. Jacob is a little shy, so I guess he just didn't like havng his picture taken. He has beautiful orange/golden eyes that he sees very well with. Or, he might be feeling a little embarassed that he's "naked" right now. He does look very MUCH like Spencer!!!

Even though he doesn't have much hair to comb right now, he really likes being groomed. I just happen to already have 5 Persians/Himmys, so I'm used to all the hair, runny eyes, daily combing and weekly baths.

I feel like someone did love him and care for him at one time because he is a very gentle, trusting cat. He loves to purr and be rocked in the glider.

I do not breed cats, but do have some show cats and I've got some cats from a group of strays/ferals that we've rescued over the past two years in my new neighborhood. The ones that I didn't find good homes for, I kept. All are spayed/neutered and happy to be living indoors only. Jacob is more than welcome to be a part of our family now if that's what he wants....and I think he does!
