...a few years ago this happened in Brisbane, Australia: A man was driving along the motorway with a kitten in his car. The kitten scratched him. He decided to "teach it a lesson" and dangled the cat out of the car window until its feet hit the motorway at 60MPH. There was a police car directly behind him The kitten was relatively unhurt and the policeman eventually adopted the kitten while the man was charged for the offence.
