As you know, a good 8 weeks of nursing (and more if poss.) is best for immune system. Not that 8 weeks of nursing would have protected against fip.. How do you protect your other cats, do you do the fip nasal spray "vaccine"? I had an fip kitten years ago and it was very difficult to deal with for both me and him! Cheops went near blind, and after a spinal tap determined no spinal fluid, was when a definative dx. could be made. Cuz the titer they do is a waste of money and means nothing!
