Are you aware of the colonies in Chelsea? Like in the Carroll ave area/Webster ave? (we got a tom 2 winters ago in this neighborhood which is out of control- his ears were so frostbitten and yet people walked by and said things like. "He's being fed by an old man, leave him be!" (not on you're f-ing life are we going to "leave be' a cat that's freezing...).Poor thing.
Just around the corner have recently discovered a situation of ferals eating trash. the woman that lives there says she feeds them (then why did I see one pick up a paper towel and run with it several trash nights ago..?). Anyway, being the season that it is, i'm inclined to frequent the area and watch for bulging bellies!
