COOKING!! Right up my alley!! I am a cook on the Mississippi River on a tow boat. One time I had a cook book with me that had a Marshmellow recipe in it.. Now, I have always wondered how they were made.. So light, smells so good and how in the world do they PUFF up like that! So, I ordered what I needed and one day I undertook the task of making Marshmellows!! I was so excited and I told the whole crew what I was planning to do so they were waiting to see how it went.. It really went real good! Unbelievable! But when I went to get it out of the mixing bowl.. well... what can I say... it don't just come out....you have to pull it out... it is very stringy... The more I pulled, the more places I got it and the more I laughed.. I was almost rolling on the floor when the engineer came in and saw the mess and me laughing so hard and asked WHAT in the world was I doing and what was so FUNNY and WHAT smelled so good???? I told him what it was, how funny it had got and what a hoot it would be to do that with a bunch of KIDS! Just think of the fun you could have with a bunch of kids making marshmellows... "Cookie! Where's that recipe???????"
