I comb my chihuahua with a flea comb to get any loose hair off him, doing that he doesn't shed too much.

I read in a breed information book that Poodles and Kerry Blue Terriers are the only breeds who TRUELY don't shed.
I know a kerry blue who does defiantly shed. Poodles not so much.

But the dogs with actual hair instead of fur don't really shed either (maltese, shih tzu, etc).
I had a yorkie when I was growing up and he hardly ever shed and when he did is was clumps that were easy to pick up.
