I've read and reread your post. I can't find a single sincere apology anywhere in the entire message. All I see is an angry girl making excuses for something offensive she said. Although you title it "apology," a rant by any other name is still a rant.
That's the same thing I thought, but maybe somehow this is her way of an apology.
