Myrtle Beach would be in South Carolina. This I know for sure!

What is it that you want? Excitement or solitude? If you're looking for excitement and fun, then Myrtle Beach is your place. It's sort of like Atlantic Beach or Las Vegas on the coast (minus the gambling). Lots of fun things to do and wonderful food at every turn, but very crowded in the summer. If you want a quiet, relaxing beach, you need to go north of Myrtle Beach up into NC or south of the Myrtle Beach area to Litchfield, Pawley's Island, or even further south to Hilton Head. It is a great coast, wherever you stop.
