I love your quote about special needs kitties...I have a very big weak spot for special needs kitties, and tend to keep the really special ones. My house looks like the aftermath of a war with crippled cats, brain damaged cats, deaf, one eyed etc. I've been worried about one of my most handicapped ones "Thumbelina" who has many birth defects. She's been quiet lately (unlike her) but isn't acting sick in any way. I guess a trip to the vets is needed as it would crush me to lose her.
