    I personally don't agree with buying a puppy from a backyard breeder, but he's very cute and it seems like he will have a great home now. Congrats on the newest addition. Hopefully they will get the mother spayed, as well as the father neutered as they shouldn't be reproducing if they are not emotionally stable.

    he is so cute!!! good luck with him. My dogs mother got aggressive with them early too but my baby (pitt also) is just the sweetest dog. Now she is gonna have babies too. Godd luck.

    congrats on the baby, he is a doll. Cute markings!
    Its sad that the mom was not a proper mom & also sad that the backyard *breeder* didnt want to care for the pups until they are old enought to be properly placed in a good home, but at least he has one!!!
    Because he is so young I would socialize him tons & tons, that can cause major problems later in life. Get him in a puppy class too when he is older (16 weeks or so) after his series of vaccines!

    Do you really think it's a good idea to breed her if her mother got agressive with her? There is a good chance your dog can do the same with her babies as well. Is she papered, and is the father a purebred?

    I dont know if she will be that way or not but i am willing to take over or what ever needs to be done if she is. also i didnt want to breed her, we got a nother pit very unexpected and she went into heat. so i didnt do it on purpose and also I hope people dont put that horrible lable on me "backyard breeder" I am a good person and would never want to hurt any animal. they are both pure breeds. have a great day everyone.
