I've done it, I don't anymore. Get good padding--knees, wrists, helmet--the whole nine yards!! It's fun, but if the dog decides to go off to the side or chase a squirrel, you have no way to stop it. I use a springer attachment now. Much safer and better control of the dogs. I haven't had a crash since I got the springer, even with the malamutes attached.
