well we didn't get any where on a trailer yet but have a couple places left to check. I'll take a diet coke.
I didn't get the job at the hardware store so I'll be back up at west glacier this summer . I really hadn't planed on even getting a interveiw at the hardware store. 2 postions open and 4 applicants The manger said he really had a hard time choosing between all of us. He will keep me in mind if one of these doesn't work out. Since I had a job already , he wanted to try out the 2 he chose. Ok by me I'll make more per hour and its full time. versus part time.
I like my job in the park so it worked out ok.

Heres a toast to Winter and sas !
Got my pet swap box today, Merlin and the rabbit went nuts. Cats and Lady thought being out side in SUNSHINE was more important.

I am so so sorry to hear about SAS losing Winter. What an adorable bunny she was.

Maybe we should think about having a Memorial wall at Thursdays and we could periodically stop and all drink a toast to the beloved furkids romping around at the Rainbow Bridge.

For now, I raise my glass to Winter - a precious baby taken away too soon.

    Good morning everyone -

Yes Richard - a moment of silence for the people killed or injured in Spain and for thier loved ones who have to deal with the aftermath.

Slick - great story - its good to have some levity in these serious times.

Well, its cleanup time at the bar - Richard, have you scrubbed ou the tub after Mario's bath? Mario - you smell so sweet now - was that lavender soap that Slick used?

Think I'll make a pitcher of BMs. Anyone care to join me?

These are not the droids you were looking for

Hi Catland: sure I'll join you. I've done about as much housecleaning as I can take this week so I'm ready to parteeee.

Actually I used some Tea-Tree soap on Mario; I'm told it repels fleas.

My prayers going out to the people of Spain.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

That was really bad news in Spain, when is this all going to end?

And then theres poor little Winter too.

A moment of silence is in order...

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

    * nudge nudge * is there room for me to belly-up to the bar with you guys? BM sounds perfect. May saner minds than those responsible in Spain prevail on this fragile earth with the coming spring & summer.

Speaking of fleas by the way, I found out (after all these years and all the dogs & cats I've had ) that brewer's yeast sprinkled on some dog or cat food works like magic to control fleas AND mosquitos. Works for humans too. It evidently creates a smell that fleas & mosquitos can't stand but that's not noticed by humans (or presumedly dogs or cats). Really, it works.

I've heard a drop or two of garlic jucie added to water, does the same thing. None of my animals would drink water with that in it though!

Oooooo, Mario, you do smell nice! Did you get into Richard's cologne?

Could I get some nachos? and a cherry limeade?
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

No, I didn't call in sick today because I remembered one of the Union auditors was scheduled to be here. So she's finally gone, but now the boss is on his way in, and he's in the dog house as far as I'm concerned, so hopefully he'll only stay a short while and then leave me be.

Moment of silence for all the people in Spain.

    BM please?

And Richard, I don't know, will hearing about your yeast infection be more than we need to know?

I don't know.....I was sick and decided to take some "cillin"
pills that my mom had on hand...(I was out of work and thought my insurance had lapsed....) The 'cillin' killed all the stuff in my system and I ended up with a raging yeast infection........I'll leave the details out............man alive........it was terrible.
