Brooke, the fairy tattoo sounds really cute! I hope you do get it, sounds like it would look really cool. I don't think you'd have to worry about touch ups so much as long as you didn't expose it to the sun all the time.

I have 8 tattoos and when our finances calm down after we are finished buying our house , I plan to get some more too.

As far as sensitivity goes, you are exactly right about what hurts the most. I was told this is because it hurts when the tat is being done right over a "bony" area, such as an ankle. When I have gotten them on my thighs or female parts above the waist , I barely felt any pain.

I don't plan on getting cartoon characters. I wouldn't want to be a grandmother and have my grandkids go "Bugs Bunny, who is that?" LOL I also don't get names of people put on me (significant others), although I think putting the names of relatives who have passed away as a tribute is acceptable.
