It depends where you get them. When I got mine on the small of my back, it hurt quite a bit. lol. But then again, I'm a wuss. I had to bite my hand when I got my belly button pierced. Well, I mean...I don't know...it's not really tons of pain, it's just weird feeling...

I guess areas on your hands, feet, ribs, etc hurt the most. And I read somewhere that you lower back, groin area, ankles, etc are right after that. Your calves, upper arms, shoulder blade, etc are the least sensitive.

I also heard somewhere that women who have been pregnant and gone through delivery said that the pain really isn't that bad. Hm...lol.
