I sure hope those boys didn't cause the injuries to the cat! Kids can be awful to animals around here. Pack mentality sometimes rules over what some of those boys may have done, if they were alone. They may have been egged on by one another, and had to impress friends or be ostrasized (sp?) by their peers.
