Most all of mine do that too!! Leroy does the best chatter around here. I think the best theory of why they do it is "HUH?" It's not like you scared them and they don't seem to be angry. It's kind of like when you get woken up from a nap..."What? Whats up?" Only they can instantly go back to sleep where as most of us can't!!!
