A few years ago, our mini-lop was out and about and got ahold of a lamp cord that we did not know had been plugged into the wall. (We always left it unplugged. Company was over and they had so thoughtfully plugged it in for us.) Anyway, in a room of FOUR adults, Bunny got a good jolt. Scared the crud out of us. Luckily he was OK and totally recovered. We were very lucky.
I'm just saying, you can never be too careful. This happened to us on a Saturday night, no vet was available, it was really scary.
All of our cords are now covered in thick plastic tubing, even the ones tucked away.
I just don't want any other bunnies to get hurt.![]()
