I am leaning toward stem cell research for human deseases (being diabetic might have something to do with that)But not sure as that conflicts with my stand on abortions(not starting a debate!!!)
Hey, I was only at the conference as a Guest of Laurie's. You'd better ask Laurie about her job description.

The Conference is a yearly one that's put on by AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) and this year it happened to be in Seattle. The general public is allowed to go (for a fee I think) and there are information booths and all kinds of science education booths for children. The cloned mules were in a section of their own, but I'm not sure who sponsored by.

Check this out: http://www.aaas.org/meetings/

There were all kinds of seminars as well. I was only there for 1 night so did not get to attend much, but what I saw was very interesting.

I'm sure when Laurie logs on she can tell you more. I may not have all the facts straight
