I wasn't home alone. My son was home sick sleeping on the couch and my daughter was home from school already. Chances are that one of the kids didn't completely shut the kitchen door and one of the cats pried it open to sit in the mudroom to watch the world go by. I have NO idea how the french doors got open. Pouncer's been trying to figure them out, but that door swings in, not out, so I know he'd never be able to manipulate a door inward. So, I'm hoping a good srtong gust of wind blew it open.Originally posted by catcrazylady
Wow that is scary news and good news all in one! Thank goodness your boys didn't take off! Allen was doing what we call "loving the concrete". Never could understand that![]()
Do you think someone came into your house and saw you sleeping so they got scared and left? You know you should lock your doors especially when you are home alone! Ok, done with the mother lecture nowI'm really glad that you and the boys are ok.
And yes, we need to start locking all the time - the neighborhood is nice, but on the cusp of turning bad.
