Thank you for the kind things you've said about Kuhio. We continue to get the word out about how we lost her. We have adopted a "cage" in her name at the no-kill shelter. New arrivals are isolated in a cage until they are given a clean bill of health, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Afterwards, they are released into the general population or kept in a completely separate room if they test positive. How we wish that Kuhio had been taken to this shelter instead of where she ended up.
