my dog is not listening

my dog is six months old. she is a pure breed boxer.. when she poops and pees i shake my head mand my finger and i say no.i use puppy pads. its a not that tall, but when i first got her she never did jump the fence. .but if i cant train her over the summer were going to get rid of her.because i still go to school and my dad works all day so were never home untill three or so. when i leave for school i just put her in my room not in a pin.
