I'm afraid I may die without my diet Pepsi so I'll not cut off my nose to spite my face. Stickin' with Pepsi.
I have a thing for noses, so leave your's alone!
ES,
I see the Flag plastered over all kinds of things
cans, bottles, bags....that bugs me---
As far as the pledge goes, it's either all or nothing......if you read the link you'll see that the pledge was amended, by law, in the mid 50's
I just think it's a little strange that they would want to change the POA to suit THEIR goals...
There are rules for flag etiquette, but the POA's rules of etiquette are far simpler...

There is no provisions or rules for the written Pledge........
For example.
Birthday to you, birthday to you,
Birthday to ---------, birthday to you.
The word 'Happy' has been deemed unacceptable by people who are related to terminally depressed folks...I would not want to wish some sad person a happy birthday! How inconsiderate would I be?
