Ok, I just got home and haven't even introduced the dogs yet. The big crate was a little messed up so Chris had to take Buford to work with him in case she broke out.

So far, she's growled at Wilma when Wilma approached her crate. Wilma was surprisingly well-behaved. Normally Wilma doesn't like other females too much but she seems to have a healthy respect for the big girls. So I have Wilma tethered to the couch on a 6 ft long line and Joxer is just roaming around but I think he's too scared to go right up to the crate. Hehe.

I let DixieBelle (LOVE that name) out of her crate for a little bit when I first got home. She seemed scared and was doing the 'low walk' thing. She didn't really want to go outside, but she did jump right up onto the futon! Cute girl.

I don't want to introduce the dogs until Chris gets home but I will try to take some pics of the new girl.

Phew!! Smells like there's a hound dog in here!
